DIVING: The Underwater Centre has 5 star PADI centres at The Coral Strand Hotel. Single dives cost R155, 5-dive package R735, 10-dive package R1,390 incl use of cylinder and weights. R215, R1,020 and R1,930 resp. incl use of all equipment. These prices are valid only for pre-booked dives. Diving is possible year round, however, there are seasonal changes in water temperature, visibility and the state of the sea. The best months are March, April, May and September, October and November. The seas are calmest during these months. The visibility on offshore sites can be over 30 metres and temperatures reach 29'C. South African passport holders do not require a visa. There is no malaria in Seychelles and there are no other health requirements. | |
