| Manta Reef lies at the northwestern tip of Pemba Island (Tanzania), looking straight across the Pemba Channel towards the Shimoni area of Kenya, some 50 km away. The lodge consists of an open-plan bar and dining area, with 15 tile-roofed, en suite chalets built into a grassy hillside slightly above sea level and furnished in the attractive "Zanzibar" style. The chalets have electric lights and fans, but not air conditioners. Each chalet has a balcony looking out over the ocean. One earth diving have a school at the camp and offer dives at $27 per single dive or $70 for a three dive package (included tank, weights, guide and boat trip). Pemba offers spectacular wall diving with a large variety of hard and soft corals, reef and game fish in warm tropical waters with excellent visibility.
