When you're not fly fishing for bonefish or whatever else you decide to fill your active days on Abaco there are several excellent scuba diving operators nearby that offer PADI instruction for your certification as a fully Certified NAUI SCUBA Diver. Area operators offer SCUBA diving and snorkeling trips, guided underwater tours, SCUBA Instruction open water referrals NAUI, PADI, YMCA & CMAS. As well, they have rental equipment, underwater videos, conduct reef, tunnels and caverns, night, shark and wreck dives. Some provide sunset cruises, island tours and private charters! You'll have a terrific, educational and exciting time! NOTE: Guided scuba diving activities are NOT included in our package prices.  Private tennis & basketball court
For anyone who enjoys tennis, the lodge features a newly resurfaced private tennis court as well as a basketball court. These amenities provides group or family members with plenty to do in addition to all the other fun things to do within minutes of the lodge. The surface is Plushtex, which is a rubberized hard court that is as forgiving on the knees as a clay court. |
 Bicycling
There are plenty of interesting places on Abaco Island that you can easily get to on one of our bicycles. Whether it's just for fun or as alternate transportation Bahamas Backroads Fly Fishing Lodge has and includes three mountain bikes for you to use while you're enjoying your stay with us.  For window shopping, Cherokee Sound is a favorite biking destination with fun little shops and friendly pubs.
For the true single track mountain biking enthusiast there are a number of back roads and trails that run to secluded beaches and fly fishing flats that any mountain biker would have a great time exploring! Take your fly rod with you and explore new water! |

For many visitors to Bahamas Backroads Vacation Fly Fishing Lodge there's no simpler or more effective way to relax than to take the lounge chairs to the dock, put up the umbrella and read a good book. When the sun gets hot just jump into the crystal clear water surrounded by a beautiful cove and have a refreshing swim. For those looking for a full day of sunbathing and swimming the dock and many barren beaches are where you can relax, read and wile the day away. To cap off your relaxing afternoon, a screened porch (splendid sunset view included free) is the perfect place for cocktails.
