SCUBA DIVINGDiving is possible all year round, however, there are seasonal changes in water temperature, visibility and the state of the sea. The best months are March, April, May and September, October and November. The seas are calmest during these months. The visibility on offshore sites can be over 30 metres and temperatures reach 29'C. The Underwater Centre (The Seychelles dive pioneers) is run by David & Glynis Rowat and Island Ventures is run by Guy & Caroline Fotherby. Both schools are very professionally run and highly recommended. Diving can be pre-booked or arranged directly from your hotel. Both schools collect divers from any hotel on the island. | LE PETITE VILLAGE ... seven self catering, sea facing apartments situated on the north west coast of Mahe on Bel Ombre beach, adj to the famous and beautiful Beau Vallon Bay. Management provide the first breakfast plus soft drinks and fruit juice allow you to ease into your self catering holiday. INDIAN OCEAN LODGE PRASLIN ... 8 bungalows made of granite and local timber including 3 elegant deluxe suites and 5 bungalows with 2 standard rooms each.
